Our Dunfermline HNC student, Emma Robertson has recently secured an assistant make-up artistry position with Leslie Sneddon.
Emma was recently a childcare practitioner at Fife council. She has recently come on to study our HNC in Fashion and Makeup Artistry course.
Her favourite part of the HNC course is the bridal and Intense Glam units. This is due to the amount of knowledge given from the tutors and also how the tutors are currently working in the industry.
Emma says: “I have learnt that the make-up industry is amazing and full of opportunities!
I would say to someone considering applying to this course to go for it as it will open so many opportunities for you in the beauty industry.”
Before starting, Emma was apprehensive about the course but says it has proven itself as incredibly educational and the opportunities are endless.
Emma loves using the wide variety of products in class from premium brands such as Illamasqua, Kryolan and Caudalie. Her favourite product to use is Illamasqua’s Pure Pigment ‘Furore’.
Emma says: “This is my favourite pigment as the colour pay off is so vibrant and really makes the eyes stand out.
Just start off with a little and build up the product as you go.”
We use premium brands in GlamCandy due to the high quality of their products, setting the students up with the best products available for their kits.
We’re so proud of Emma being dedicated in her studies and securing an assistant make-up position with such a renowned makeup artist.
In GlamCandy we pride ourselves in the amount of commitment each one of our members of staff gives to the students and their learning.
