ARE THE COURSES ACCREDITED?

Our HNC & HND level courses are accredited by SQA. Our short courses are accredited by SCQF and ABT.

DO I GET A MAKEUP KIT WITH MY COURSE?

Yes, a starter makeup kit is included with our courses. The products change for each intake and we use a variety of different brands such as Doll Beauty, B Perfect Cosmetics, Unicorn Cosmetics, Revolution and Mac.

WILL I GET A PHOTOSHOOT WITH THIS COURSE?

Our HNC & HND Courses include photoshoots during the course. There are many opportunities to attend photoshoots once your course has been completed from within our Aftercare program. This gives our students the experience to gain employment, promote their skills and experience working on set and behind the scenes at Fashion Shows.

WHERE CAN I GET FUNDING FOR THIS COURSE?

HNC/HND Courses

Scottish based students can apply for funding to SAAS (Students Award Agency Scotland) & SLC (Student Loans Company) to cover the cost. Many students self-fund from personal money, savings, finance. Students can also opt to pay their fees on a monthly payment plan.

WHERE CAN I GET FUNDING FOR THIS COURSE?

HNC/HND Courses Scottish based students can apply for funding to SAAS (Students Award Agency Scotland) & SLC (Student Loans Company) to cover the cost. Many students self-fund from personal money, savings, finance. Students can also opt to pay their fees on a monthly payment plan. Short Courses Students who do not wish to pay for a course in full can apply to spread costs over 12 months via Payl8r or can choose to spread the costs over 8 months via GCPay.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR FUNDING?

1. Enrol in our HNC Fashion Makeup Course or HND Makeup Artistry Course.

2. Be a resident in Scotland on the first day of the course.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I ENROL

You can enrol up to 18 months in advance.

WHAT TYPE OF JOBS CAN I GET ON COMPLETION?

We encourage our students to equip themselves with the necessary skills to seek employment. We do often get employers contacting us seeking staff and we will reccomend suitable students or graduates for each job. We have a job board on our website where popular brands advertise regularly for GlamCandy graduates. We also post job opportunities on our Student & Graduate Only Facebook Group.

Yes, many students enjoy learning beauty, makeup and creativity. Students can book our courses to follow their passion or hobby and learn new skills when applying makeup.
