Yes, we will be looking to open the week of the 5th April 2021, as a phased return across the week.
Will all teaching move back into college locations or will some elements, such as theory be taught online?
Wednesday will be kept as a home study day to ensure minimal contact between different classes.
This will continue to evolve as further guidance is released however at this time we will be adhering to the 2m social distancing rule while in class, when working on each other for the practical elements the MUA applying makeup will have both a facemask and a shield on while the model will have a mask on. Face masks must be kept on at all times while in the college buildings unless eating or drinking which has to be done at their work station. All classes will form a bubble with their tutor, e.g. their tutor will not travel to another location to teach a different class. We have all appropriate track and trace in place and students must sign in to say they do not have symptoms and have adequately sanitised their kits. Temperatures are also taken each morning.
As we have done throughout lockdown, all HNC courses will continue to run online. Students affected by lockdown can use our aftercare package which provides free access to future practical lessons including Pro courses once colleges reopen. Any photoshoots missed will be completed at the next available date.
