London Fashion Week – Ray Chu Show
It’s that time of year again, our Pro Makeup team here at GlamCandy were invited down to do the makeup for the Ray Chu show at London Fashion Week. With Lead Artist, and GlamCandy’s Creative Director, Stephanie Ferry setting example with the first look, the vibe was clear natural skin with intense silver graphic liner. Joining Steph was Alice Dickson, Lois Barclay and Holly Martin, who have all trained with GlamCandy and now actually work within the company.
Steph started out her makeup career working in MAC before coming to us to study her HNC in Fashion Makeup. Since then she gained employment with us and began teaching as one of our HNC tutors, while also successfully running her freelance business, building up her client base, bridal makeup and working on countless photoshoots. She recently was promoted to Creative Director with GlamCandy and had the amazing opportunity of being the Lead Makeup Artist at London Fashion Week for RayChu Studios, assisted by the rest of our team.
Assisting Steph was Alice Dickson, who first studied with us in 2018 before working with us in 2019 after she graduated from her HNC. She began as a Trainee Tutor, moving up to Tutor and now she is the Social Media Manager for GlamCandy. As well as building up our social media, she also works on her own social media, working with brands on Instagram and Tik Tok while making content for us and our students.
The makeup team also included Lois Barclay, who studied with us in 2019 and was employed with us once she graduated. She is now a lead tutor for GlamCandy, as well as working on photoshoots, campaigns and has taken part in fashion weeks with her work being featured in Vogue!
Last but not least, Holly Martin completed the GlamCandy makeup team for London Fashion Week 2023. Holly also first studied with us in 2018 before starting to work with us part time while she was still studying towards her HND. She has since worked her way up and is now Lead Tutor and MUA. As well as working with GlamCandy and focusing on her freelance business, Holly also does nails, takes part in Fashion Weeks, short films, adverts and photoshoots abroad.
