GlamCandy is proud to offer its students exclusive opportunities to work with brands, clients and professionals established in the industry.

From assisting the professional make-up artists on TV and film sets, to working behind the scenes at fashion shows, students who win our in-house competitions have the opportunity to host their own photoshoot with some of the best in the business. The opportunity to work with such a worldwide-renowned brand such as L’Oréal Professionnel is an opportunity sure to wow future employers, and our students didn’t disappoint.

Our Dunfermline HNC Fashion Make-Up students were challenged with creating a professional make-up mood board with the chance to win a photoshoot with L’Oréal Professionnel hairdresser, Ronnie Marshall.

Chosen by lead tutor and senior make-up artist, Karen Bowen winners were students Lori Adams and Morgan Lennox.

Morgan and Lori’s mood board ideas came to life on their two models from Colours Agency. They gained firsthand experience of a fast-paced, professional shoot and were able to get vital insight into not only working with models, but also working with Ronnie to put the look together with hairstyling.

Being the lead make-up artist on a brand photoshoot is an immensely prestigious title, an outstanding addition to their CV’s and incredibly impressive to be able to gain this experience whilst still studying.
