Makeup Artist Pro Discounts
Makeup and skincare brands can offer up to 40% discount on products for professionals or around 20% discount for students. Industry professionals for many brands consist of makeup artists, aestheticians, cosmetologists, hairstylists, fashion stylists, manicurists, costume designers, models, on-air talent/performers and photographers.
There are different application procedures for each company, but they generally require a form of ID alongside two forms of evidence to show you are a working professional or student. The required evidence can consist of the following: college enrolment letter, certificate/diploma, editorial/tear sheet credits, website, press material with credits or agency contract.
There are many brands who offer discount programs and it can take some time to submit the necessary evidence, however it is certainly worthwhile and can be greatly beneficial if you need to continuously purchase products for your job.
Illamasqua
While studying with us you can apply for an Illamasqua student discount of 20%.
Upon completion of your course and whilst working in the industry this can be increased to a 40% discount. You will need to complete an application form and submit documentation as evidence and, once approved, you can shop with this discount online.

Kryolan
Upon completion of your course you can apply for a pro membership with Kryolan, where you can get 20% off their products.
Pro membership is only applicable to GlamCandy HNC/D graduates. However, those studying short courses may be eligible with satisfactory industry experience and must provide further documentation such as business cards, account pages, call sheets for shows etc.

MAC
Whilst studying with us, you can apply for a MAC student discount of 15% off. You will be required to upload an image of your enrolment confirmation with the details of your HNC course, such as the name of our college, name of the course and start and end date.
Following completion of your course, you can apply for a Pro Artist membership where you can get up to 35% off products by sending further documentation, such as your qualification certificate, and any additional supporting documents they require.
MAC can only offer student discount to those on a full-time course with a minimum of 4 weeks (200 hours), so this is not available to our Short course students. Short course students will need to show evidence of working in the industry, this could be: business cards, account pages, editorial credits and call sheets etc.
