Often students are asked to put together a look on a model then professional photographer will come in and take pictures for the student’s portfolio. I’d like to say thank you so much for all your support throughout the course and especially towards the end when I was struggling to meet the completion dates due to personal circumstances. I am so happy that I passed let alone getting a ‘B’. My time at GlamCandy has been such an incredible experience from start to finish. Taking the leap to follow a passion of mine and study the HNC fashion makeup course was the best decision I have ever made, I have learned so much and massively improved my confidence. During the six month course I was able to see my own makeup skills develop and improve as well as see myself become a more resilient and confident person. I have always been nervous meeting new people and taking on new challenges but GlamCandy and my amazing tutor Paulina helped to bring me out of my shell and give me the reassurance I needed. Paulina was so supportive and was always there to help no matter what the issue, she kept my class going through a difficult period of having COVID and learning online. I can honestly say I enjoyed every single unit that we covered on this course and I am leaving with such a broad range of skills that give me the opportunity to follow several different career paths. It was an amazing way to meet new people and I believe that I have met friends for life. I would recommend GlamCandy to anyone who is interested in following a creative career path or just has a true passion for makeup artistry. My eyes have been opened to the huge range of options there are in terms of career paths within the beauty industry and I can’t believe how much content was packed into the six month course. I am leaving GlamCandy not only as a better makeup artist but as a better person and for that I cannot give enough credit to Paulina and the other incredible tutors.

I started my journey with glam candy in February 2019 I have had so many amazing experiences and learnt so much it has been an intense course but the things I have learnt in such a short space of time is unbelievable and would highly recommend it to people who are serious about a career in makeup the team is fantastic and the makeup knowledge is insane from intense glam with holly who is amazing in her field and can do a floating cut crease like no one else loved her classes , also Becca the brow queen who can carve the perfect brow and Rachael amazing with everything glam thank you , the photo shoots were amazing so professional amazing images and amazing photographers also the models you would never get this any ware else wot a experience and wot can I say about the Edinburgh lead tutor Paulina no amount of thanks would ever quite cut it the support this woman has shown is above and beyond for all students and her knowledge in commercial runway editorial and everything makeup she is definitely an outstanding makeup artist across the board she is an inspiration to all and supported me every step of the way and pushed me to be the best and totally step out my comfort zone and for that I will always be truly great full could not have done it without her. also to all the stuff who have brought their buckets of experience big thanks to you all for an amazing experience
