BIOGRAPHY
Since first experimenting with makeup when she was young, Amanda has loved how makeup can artistically transform any look. Whether it’s adding or removing freckles, disguising a birth mark, even altering facial shapes. The creative possibilities are endless when using makeup and working at GlamCandy gives her the freedom to build on her creativity.
By keeping on top of trends it was easy for her to find sources of inspiration for new and original looks. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the expressions of customers after she has completed their makeup, it was this very feeling that she after working many years as a bank manager in RBS decided to train to become a makeup artist and pursue her passion. To help define someones look for a special occasion in their life gives Amanda great pride and a huge sense of achievement. No two days are the same, every face a unique canvas and she absolutely loves every second of it!
