Paige is our Marketing Executive here at GlamCandy, looking over everything related to the website, distributing content, handling the monthly newsletters and dealing with the Social Media ads. Every day is different in this role, daily tasks can be anywhere from attending photoshoots and interviewing the hosts at it, interviewing students to showcase their experience through the website, making daily updates on the website to keep everything up to date and researching the latest topics to share our knowledge through articles. Paige also keeps an eye on the paid social as well assisting with the marketing plan.
She started in the beauty industry by working as a Saturday Girl in her local hairdressers when she was younger, earning money on Saturdays and Sundays assisting the hairdressers doing bouncy blow-drys and keeping the salon clean and tidy. She then later went on to learning how to do eyelash extensions as well as nail extensions, so she knows exactly how fast paced the beauty environment is. She then fell in love with Social Media Marketing when she assisted her local aesthetic practitioner, creating User Generated Content for them and helping them run their social channels. This opened up the door to what she could potentially do as a full time job and then she found GlamCandy who were looking for a Marketing Executive – she just knew she just HAD to apply!
OUT WITH GLAMCANDY, PAIGE ENJOYS TRYING NEW PLACES TO EAT THAT SHE HAS FOUND ONLINE THROUGH TIK TOK, GOING OUT AND TRYING NEW ACTIVITIES AND SHE HAS AN UNDYING LOVE FOR HER SPIN CLASSES. THE FAVOURITE THING ABOUT HER JOB IS DEFINITELY THE PEOPLE SHE WORKS WITH AND THE OPPORTUNITIES SHE HAS GOTTEN FROM BEING IN THE ROLE. THERE’S NOT A WORKING DAY THAT GOES BY THAT SHE DOESN’T HAVE A SMILE ON HER FACE. NOT MANY PEOPLE CAN SAY THEY LOVE GETTING UP FOR THEIR WORK BUT PAIGE DEFINITELY FEELS LIKE SHE CAN SAY THAT. WELL, MAYBE MORE SO AFTER SHE HAS HAD HER MORNING COFFEE!
