Ryan has been in the makeup industry for 11 years now. He spent over 10 years working in different retail stores & Companies. He was at Giorgio Armani Cosmetics for 3 years in Glasgow where he developed his basic skills as a MUA while freelancing on the side. Once Ryan gained some experience, he moved to London and worked his way into different positions at MAC in 4 different stores, including the World Flagship Store, Carnaby Street, where he became a Manager. Afterwards, he was lucky enough to be asked to interview for Charlotte Tilbury, Selfridges – again in Management, to which Ryan was successful and spent 2 years in both Selfridges. He then had an opportunity to move to Dubai with Charlotte Tilbury, which he accepted and spent 3 years living there, doing some incredible things; including a shoot for the Jean Paul Gaultier ‘Scandal’ campaign, working closely with Bella & Sofia Tilbury on their visits to the UAE, and shooting with Elle Arabia for the ‘Supernudes’ campaign.
Prior to joining Glamcandy, he knew it was a company he was interested in being a part of, and to his surprise there was a position available. Ryan have now been with GlamCandy just short of 6 months, and his experience so far has been amazing. He is now part of a bigger picture that really allows him to use his creative & management skills all in one place to support and bring out the best in our students and incredibly talented tutors.
