At the age of 17, Vicky trained in Fashion and Photographic Make-Up at the renowned Glauca Rossi School of Make-Up in London before returning to Scotland.
Upon her return, she worked on a number of advertising campaigns for corporate clients such as RBS, Bank of Scotland and Scottish Gas. She has also worked on a range of commercial campaigns for brands such as Boots, Topshop, Cameron Taylor Cashmere and Ocean Terminal.
Vicky eventually moved south of the border, taking up an array of high profile jobs for fashion houses, nightclubs and hair artists. Vicky's work has been published in magazines such as Spectrum, Harpers & Queen, Red and Mixmag, and she has worked with celebrities, sports personalities and politicians for Red carpet events and publicity campaigns.
Vicky started her teaching journey with GlamCandy in 2014 and has loved every minute of it. One of Vicky's teachers once said to her 'There's room at the top for everyone', and it's the motto she uses when she is passing on her knowledge to her students. She wants to share all 37 years of her industry knowledge and experience with her students, to encourage their successful and prosperous careers in this global industry.
