The limits simply do not exist when it comes to where makeup can take you in your career. Wether your dream be travelling, working with celebs or making brides feel extra special on their big day, you can have it all.
Our tutors are the prime example if travelling is on your career bucket list. They’ve travelled for jobs on various locations, including Ibiza, and also down to London Fashion Week.
In March 2022, our Pro Team and 8 HNC Fashion Makeup graduates travelled to Ibiza to do a GlamCandy exclusive photoshoot. Working alongside the creative directive, our makeup team brought the story board to life whilst collaborating with other brands.
Our Pro Team have also worked at London Fashion Week for 2 years now. Working with the designers and a hair team, bringing their vision to life on the runway.
Has it been a dream to work with A list celebs? What if we were to tell you it CAN be possible? This job doesn’t come lightly, you must be able to work well under pressure, on a tight schedule and to be able to think on the spot. Think you have what it takes? Consistency, a good portfolio and being able to put yourself out there will get you exactly there.
There are so many different opportunities that can come by working as a Makeup Artist. The work you produce is unique and personal to you, but one thing all of us Makeup Artists have in common is our love and passion for the industry. Wherever you are in the world there is something out there for you.
