GlamCandy’s Halloween weekend flew by as an absolute success!

An astonishing 60 clients passed through GlamCandy’s doors for Halloween, with each one walking away with a smile on their perfectly painted face.

The whole studio was draped in decorative cobwebs, skulls and spiders, while team hosted each client with a vast array of gruesome drinks. Not only that, the place was roaring with various Halloween anthems and everyone was in high spirits.

In the studio, there was also a ‘selfie set-up’ with ring-lights and a Halloween themed backdrop fit for the perfect spooky selfie.

The studio was open from 6 am until 7 pm with our make-up artists joining in the celebration. Everybody worked tremendously hard throughout the day, with each look a created was a vivid example of how skilled our make-up team really is.

Each artist took inspiration from clients desired images and created hauntingly realistic Halloween looks.

Prosthetics were used throughout the day. Each one handcrafted by Amanda McCarthy, our lead tutor, plus and our  HND class, which set the professional bar exceedingly high for GlamCandy clients.

We also ran a competition on our Instagram page @glamcandyuk, where if you tagged #lookofthemonth you could win a free make-up appointment with one of our lead artists.

The lucky winner was @islaanel0ni who transformed into a glamorous clown, thanks to @katieelizabethmckinley_gc_mua.

We can't wait to see her again for her prize appointment!

In the run-up to Halloween, our make-up artists also created some of their own looks. We had leopards from @sophie_gc_mua, snakes by @chloe_gc_mua, skulls from @rachael_melrose_gc_mua, @shauni_gc_mua, @katieelizabethmckinley_gc_mua and a Tinkerbell inspired look by @helenmcn_makeup.

To view them all, visit our Instagram page @glamcandyuk.

Our lead tutor, Amanda McCarthy @mandamccarthy_, created many looks on the run-up to Halloween. Her Game Of Thrones inspired White Walker creation was even published on Kryolan’s official page, giving her and GlamCandy global awareness.

Another lead make-up artist and tutor, Katie Mckinley, was also published by @eldorafalseeyelashes for creating her striking blue full skull face.

We’re absolutely speechless by how much support GlamCandy received over the Halloween period, and we can’t thank everyone who came to our studio enough.

Our next big events will be Christmas and New Year and we’re excited to reveal some surprises in the next few months.
